	Over the course of a year, I have recorded overheard conversations from strangers. These snippets were then paired with images of out of place and slightly unusual scenes. The conversations and images were recorded simultaneously and were later paired.

	A Place to Crash
This project is an exploration
into the conspiracy theories based around UFOs and the alleged sightings that
have been recorded. This also questions the documentary genre and the camera’s
ability to really tell the truth. Using official Ministry of Defence documents
of recorded UFOs, images taken by people who believe they have seen a UFO and
my own images, I have created a document that is as truthful and real as the
conspiracy theories that it investigates.&#38;nbsp;

	Undertaking

Death is the only thing that unites everyone, a universal
destination that is unavoidable and
unstoppable.

						
Motorways are the space between
physical destinations, never the
destination themselves, facilitators
for the journeys people make. Like
motorways, funeral directors are
liminal spaces, bridging the gap
between life and death, yet these
seemingly different spaces are more
closely related than just through
traffic collisions. They are vital parts
of society, rarely thought about until
they are needed.

						
The passing of time and the fragility
of life is held in both of these spaces
with their cyclical and permanent
nature making life, death and
motorways some of the only things
certain to bring us all together.

	We Sleep When They’re Dead


	This project is an exploration of espionage and paranoia. Although completely fictitious, the project aims to play on the ideas of watching the people that watch others and the paranoia that is created through the fear of the unknown. This project has been taken from the perspective of a ‘secret agent’ watching another ‘secret agent’, which questions the unaccountable nature of spies and the actions of those who operate covertly under the instruction of the government of the day.&#38;nbsp;
